Hi, I’m Wesley. I’m a 16-year-old Mac enthusiast. I was born and raised on a little island by the name of Montreal, Canada.
Over the past few years, I’ve been active on the Internet, and a member to different online communities. When I’m not in school, or writing about different technology, I like to spend my time contributing to these communities. Most of my time is spent at places like, Macrumors, a site where people talk about current and upcoming Apple products. DeviantART, one of the biggest online art communities, is where I share my photography and designs. Another place I share my photography, is Flickr. Not only do I enjoy sharing my photography with people, but I like to share my videos. My videos can be found on the commonly known site Youtube.
I originally began WYendrys.com (which can be viewed here) as a personal site in April of 2007. It was a place where I had a blog, which I updated with my personal going ons and a place that I showcased my photography, videos, designs and moderated my own forum. I had that site up for about 3 months, and then decided I wanted to make WYendrys.com a place exclusively to technology matters, because it’s something that I enjoy so much.
WYendrys.com will be a place where I’ll frequently update and provide insight on technology. Most of the time it will be Apple related. I’ll review hardware and software and I’ll share some of my favorite Mac themes, custom icons and wallpapers every month. I’ll try and write tips and tricks regarding certain things and this will even be a place where I can come and write about things happening in my life; non-technology related.
Seeing as how I’m mostly going to cover Apple related topics on this site, it should come as no surprise that I use a Mac. I got my iMac when I was 11. It’s a 15″ iMac G4. I got a 17″ MacBook Pro in February. I’m soon going to sell my iMac and buy a 23″ Apple Cinema Display. I also have a 3rd Generation and 5th Generation iPod. So, that’s my set up, and I love it! I like everything about Apple, which is why I buy their products over anyone else’s. Oh, and yes, I use an exercise ball as a chair!
Here’s my set up a bit more in depth.
• iMac G4 - 700Mhz, 512MB RAM, 40GB HD, 15″ Screen.
• MacBook Pro C2D - 2.33Ghz, 2GB RAM, 160GB HD, 17″ Screen.
• Keyboard - Apple Wireless Keyboard.
• Mice - 2x Apple Might Mouse
• iPod - 10GB 3rd Generation & 30GB 5th Generation + iPod Dock + iPod Socks.
• External Hard Drive - 250GB + 500GB LaCie Porsche Hard Drive.
At 16 years of age, I do some web building here and there. Mostly within my family, but hopefully I’ll branch out to larger projects. I have a lot to learn in the web design business, but I think I’m learning and developing at a good pace.
