My Five Realistic Dream Cars
From my experience, when people are asked, “what is your dream car”, most reply with something along the lines of a Ferrari, Lamborghini or some other supercar. Although I wouldn’t mind having a car by said companies, I just don’t think they’re realistic to own. So, this is my list of five realistic dream cars.
1) 2008 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500
The Ford Mustang has been on the top of my list for some time now. I not only love the history behind the Mustang and how much of an icon the car is, but I think that it has one of the greatest body designs out there on the market. The 5.4L-supercharged engine packs quite a punch at 500 horsepower. This is definitely my number one dream car!
2) 2008 Mitsubishi Evolution Lancer
The Mitsubishi Evo Lancer is just a mean looking car! The front end is sure to intimidate any other car out on the road. There are people who buy cars to add spoilers, body kits, hood scoops and so on, to make them look sporty, but the Evo Lancer is perfect in every way! The 2.0L turbocharged engine boasts 291 horsepower and is surely on the top of any car enthusiasts’ list!
3) 2008 Nissan Skyline GTR
Ah, yes, the Nissan GTR. It’s rear end looks like a Chevy Cobalt on steroids and it’s front end looks like a futuristic 350Z. What more can you ask for in a car? Under the hood, you’ll find a 3.4L twin-turbo engine pushing 480 horsepower. This car doesn’t even look like it should be out on the streets amongst other cars.
4) 2008 Volkswagen GTI
The Volkswagen GTI is an all-around great car for anyone. It has enough room for a family, it’s doesn’t scream “hey, look at me, I’m drive way above the seed limit”, and the price tag is fairly decent. Don’t be fooled by its looks. This little Vee Dub is running a 200 horsepower 2.0L turbo. Big things come in small packages!
5) 2008 Pontiac G6 GXP Coupe
The G6 wouldn’t be my first pick, but it’s a pretty quick and sporty car. It has pretty nice lines, and looks like a fun drive, which is important. The G6 sports a 256 horsepower 3.6L engine, all for a reasonable price!
So, that’s my list of 5 realistic dreams cars (all under $80,000). What are you dreams cars?

I love the EVO as well. Mustangs fell off my list a few years ago. To many of them on the streets. I like the Lexus RX330`s (2003-2005) and just about any newer Jeep Limited.

I have a few favourites;
Volkswagen R32 (not street legal in Canada)
Audi RS4
I want the GTR as well.

The RS4 is nice (R8 is to die for).

No big deal, but the Nissan GT-R is a 3.8 liter engine. 3799 cc. 480 horsepower is what they tell us, but the numbers lie sometimes.

Tough question. Im really into the fuel efficient cars so probably a Honda Fit.
Audi TT.
And then a BMW Motorcycle. Thats really all I could every realistically dream of.
