Album of the Week: Chulahoma by The Black Keys

August 3rd, 2007 by Wesley

I was introduced to The Black Keys a few months ago, and I instantly fell in love with them. This 7 track EP is one that can be played over and over again, without it getting old. It has a nice blues feel to it with vocals that will make you come crawling back for more. This two-man band from Ohio does a great job with the drums and guitar, giving off a White Stripes type of vibe.

If you’re a White Stripes /Blues/Rock fan, than you should definitely check these guys out. If you’ve never heard of the Black Keys before, and want to give them a listen before you get this album, here’s a song from they’re latest album.

I give this album an 8.5/10. It’s one I listen to over and over again.
