Diggnation. My New Addiction.

August 6th, 2007 by Wesley

A few days ago, I discovered a new podcast by the name of “Diggnation“, and I instantly fell in love with it.

Digg is an online “news” site, if you will. The community submits all the articles and determines the popularity of said articles. Nothing is edited, or selected to be the most popular. The way it works, is, someone posts an interesting story, site, image or whatever, and then people can “digg” it. Popularity is based on the amount of diggs something gets. The more diggs, the more popular that story is. You can become a member for free, and start submitting things you think are interesting.

Diggnation is a video podcast, hosted by Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht. These two guys sit on their couch, drink a few beers and talk about the most dugg stories. What I really like about this podcast, is that it’s funny, they don’t hold back and they say what they want. I literally laugh out loud at a lot of the things Alex and Kevin say and do. It’s a great unscripted, down to earth podcast and worth a watch.

Each episode is about 35-40 minuets long, and they discuss about 6 stories, answer e-mails and just chat about stuff.

If you havn’t seen diggnation, you can download episodes free on iTunes or watch them online at Revision3. For those you have seen Diggnation, you definitely know what I’m talking about, when I say it’s addicting and funny to watch.

If you’re someone who likes technology and find yourself bored a lot; these podcast are for you.

Note: The 5 Free iTunes TV Shows is still up for grabs.
