Getting Organized for School via Schoolhouse

September 2nd, 2007 by Wesley

Well, school has begun for a lot of people, and it’s important to get organized from the get-go. One great way to start, is by downloading a program called “Schoolhouse.”

Schoolhouse allows you to organize your assignments by term and subject. Once you’ve set up a term and it’s subjects, you just have to add assignments to a designated class, and then select how much it’s worth, when it’s due and the level of it’s importance. When you’re done an assignment, you just check off the “complete” section, and it will remove it from your unfinished assignments.

This form of management is a lot more effective for me, as it allows me to view all the things I have to do for school, which I can then view by class, importance and due date. Using this software eliminates the hassle of using my agenda, flipping through the pages and looking for an assignment that may have been assigned over a month ago.

The interface and user-friendliness of this application is great. It’s simple to use, and best of all; it’s free. Click here to see a screenshot of the application window.

Once school gets really going, I’ll write a post on how else you can get organized, and how to make the best of your time. Good luck with school, and have a great year!
